I BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD SON AND IT IS AWESOME. IT FITS PERFECTLY ON THE CENTER ISLAND IN MY KITCHEN. THE BALL IS FOAM AND IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE GETTING USED TO, BUT IT DOES BOUNCE AND THE GAME IS GREAT FUN. THE BEST PART IS THAT IT DOES NOT MAKE THE ANNOYING PING-PING-PING SOUND! BUY THIS AND ENJOY!

The only downside to this toy is the spongy ball they provide. Would have liked a real ping pong ball, but I'm sure that is not hard to find. Sets up easy, and very durable.

Yes, as the other reviewers noted, the paddles and balls are made out of foam. What this means is that it takes a little bit of getting used to as you have to hit a bit harder than in traditional ping pong. That being said, this is the perfect set to use on a conference room or dining room table as it can't possibly ruin the furniture in any way. And after the 20 minute learning curve, it's almost as fun as regular ping pong.

Great toy for the price. Didn't care for the balls, though..They are too heavy and do not bounce very well. Would suggest you purchase regular ping pong balls and have fun!
